Roy McLendon Sr. is an American painter best known for his portrayals of south Florida landscapes.   However, McLendon's distinctive catalog of oil paintings is famously known and highly sought after.

Roy McLendon is an iconic member of the well-known African American artist's group, The Highwaymen.  An early core legend of the group, Mclendon, is the most senior surviving member of Highwaymen history today.
