Roy McLendon Sr. is an American painter best known for his portrayals of South Florida landscapes.  McLendon's distinctive catalog of oil paintings is also famous and highly sought after.

Roy McLendon is an iconic member of the well-known African American artist's group of the 1950s, the Highwaymen, also known as the Florida Highwaymen.  McLendon, an early core legend of the group, is the most senior surviving member of Highwaymen history today.
